Betty Annan

Country Representative, Ghana


Betty Annan is ASI’s country representative in Ghana. Betty has over 15 years of experience in agronomy and environmental science, liaising between communities and extractive industries to implement socioeconomic projects, facilitating farmer access to finance, and overseeing climate change activities. Previously, she led projects at Fairtrade Africa, served as project coordinator for Care International, and was a social development advisor at West Africa Fair Fruits. Betty earned her doctor of philosophy in environmental sciences from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and received her master’s degree in natural resources from the University of Greenwich and her bachelor of science in agricultural science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
